Mechanical Assembly Engineer

1. Machine, assemble, and install components according to specifications.
2. Review drawings and material lists, and understand component specifications.
3. Test finished products and perform maintenance tasks.
4. Inspect part clearances and verify fit accuracy using gauges, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
5. Use chisels, files, scrapers, and other hand tools to align, position, and adjust parts in conjunction with drilling machines, grinding machines, and other equipment; assemble components using vises, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, jigs, and hand tools.
6. Complete tasks assigned by the company or supervisors.
